BUMS Inc AGM 2024

Calling all Financial and life members of BUMS Inc.

You are invited to attend the Brisbane Ukulele Musicians Society Inc Annual General Meeting for 2024.  
Don't forget to bring your uke! 

As has become the custom, the formal AGM meeting will be squeezed between a couple of jams — so the agenda will be an opening jam, the AGM, afternoon tea and cakes and then a closing jam.

Coorparoo Bowls Club (upstairs), 32 Riddings Road, Coorparoo
First jam starts at 2:00 pm.

No need for a ticket, just rock up.

We'll email all financial members on 25 August providing links to the Annual General meeting agenda and reports. 

Call for Nominations and Volunteers

At the AGM, all Management Committee positions are declared vacant, and nominations are invited from any financial member. We plan to continue operating a small Management Committee in 2024-25 and invite BUMS members to take on projects or regular tasks to run the Society.  Our aim is to share the load and involve more members in the administration of our activities.

Answer the Call!

As a financial or life BUMS Inc member, you can nominate, second, or be nominated for, any of the Management Committee positions! If you don't know any other members to complete your nomination, please email secretary@brisbaneukulele.com and we’ll help you with your nomination.

Nominations are called for President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Gigmeister.  Download a Management Committee member nomination form.
Email completed nomination forms to secretary@brisbaneukulele.com by 25 August 2023.

AGM Proxy Votes

If you are unable to attend the AGM, you can still participate. To register an AGM proxy vote, download and complete the proxy vote form. Email the signed completed form to secretary@brisbaneukulele.com by Friday 24 August 2023. 

We encourage all financial members to be involved in electing a Management Committee and volunteering to help BUMS Inc move forward.
