Ukulele Death Squad in Brisbane
Ukulele Death Squad are playing at the Crowbar in Fortitude Valley on 27 June 2026 as part of their 2026 EP tour.
Ukulele Death Squad return to Brisbane for a performance of their genre-bending no-holds-barred studio EP, taking you through Australiana disco, grungy blues and ukulele punk chaos.
Leave dignity at the door as they transport you to dance halls around the world with their trademark unhinged musical virtuosity. Prepare to sing, laugh and be amazed at a show where the fourth wall doesn’t stand a chance.
Ukulele Death Squad is the band no-one can define, but everyone wants to see live. This 8-piece band’s raunchy stage antics and heart-stopping ballads have mesmerised audiences around Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Catch a whiff of Brazilian-style ukulele, a thunderous horn fanfare or sing along to a sea shanty favourite. Do yourself a favour. Become the silliest and boldest version of yourself, for one night only.
“Essentially My Life Is A Disaster” is Ukulele Death Squad’s latest musical offering, recorded and mixed at Rolling Stock Studios over 2025. Featuring some of this award-winning band's newest compositions as well as signature festival favourites, these recordings showcase a stylistic and instrumental breadth from their newest band members, taking you through Australiana disco, to grungy blues, latin surf-rock and back to The Squad's signature balkan inspired ukulele brass and vocal mania.
Supported by the enchanting golden era folk songstress Anjali Leonard and the electrifying rock-funk party horn bonanza Jam & Scones.
