In Cath McCourt's absence, Caroline Haig (aka sixties girl) took over leading the jam with the assistance of many willing BUMS.  The first set featured 'girly' songs from the sixties - think Lesley Gore, Mary Wells, Nancy Sinatra, Petula Clark, and of course Carole King.

Steve Sandilands, Simon Carter and Frank Buckley led the second set before Caroline returned with a Something set – all the songs having the word something in the title.  Dolly Parton’s Something Fishy was new on many people but a rollicking good song.

set 2

Thanks to Mr Reliable, Andrew Hunt for organising the PA and projection. Thanks to Merv and Barbro for arranging the jam.

Big plug – please support the Archive Brewery by buying a drink or a meal.  With renovations going on downstairs, service was a bit slow – but the principle remains.  We get free or discounted room hire prices from all our venues, and we should support them where we can.
