We had a great night on the fourth Tuesday of the month at Geebung Bowls Club.  About 50 participants enjoyed The Original Crew – every song in their set included the word ROCK.  Think Jailhouse, Crocodile, My Soul, Old Time – you get the idea.

Ian Phillips battled through a sore throat to sing his set ably supported by Andrew Hunt on bass.

Community band NUMB BUMS has been encouraging new faces to take to the stage at gigs and jams.  In the third mini band made up of NUMB BUMS members, Lenore Stevenson and Joan Colclough made their first jam performance.  Feedback was they looked calm and had fun.

NUMB BUMS meets on a Monday evening at the Zillmere Hall (52 Murphy Road) at 6.30pm if you’d like a taste of this fun.

No open mics this month, but Andrew and John Low finished of the night with tributes to the recently departed Sinead O’Connor and Robbie Robertson (of The Band).

Next Northside jam is at the Geebung Bowls Club on 26 September at 6.30pm.
