BUMS has 369 members on its books and about 650 subscribers to our newsletter. We want to ensure our members are informed about what BUMS is doing so you can get maximum benefit from your membership.
Communication is key. You may have your own preference as to how you get your news, and we have five channels to cater for your preferences.
- Website. You can click on www.brisbaneukulele.com to see the News, Events and other information about BUMS. The website is available to anyone.
- Member Jungle App. BUMS members can download the App to their phone or tablet and have the News, Events and other information at their fingertips. We send a notification to these members when a fresh News item is posted. Currently, 230 members have loaded the App.
- Newsletter. We send out a newsletter at the end of every month by email. It goes to all current members and members who are due to renew their membership. It provides links to information on the website. The same newsletter goes out to our subscribers.
- BUMS Facebook. This is the public face of BUMS for social media users and has an audience of over 3400. It will provide links to the monthly newsletter on the website as well as other news and events of interest to the ukulele community.
- BUMS Online. This is a closed group for BUMS members and acts as a chat room where we can exchange ideas, videos and news between ourselves. The group has 183 members.
