Ferny Grove Jam (May)

A great night of singing, playing and fun was had by all at the Ferny Grove Jam last Wednesday night. There were close to 60 BUMS members and visitors attending with many enjoying a delicious meal at Little Nyonya prior to the Jam. We joined in with lots of great songs, including “Always look on the bright side of life”, which is definitely a challenge for those non-whistling folk like me!

We also played some great numbers from the ‘50s like “PeggySue”, “Let’s Twist Again” and a great Rock’n Roll medley.
In the break, Donna, Derek and Kev played 3 Aussie songs from their concert, coming up on 1st June. (See photo)

The last set of the night included a few more modern songs, including“ Believe” by Cher, “Hungry like the Wolf” and “Blister in the Sun”. Thanks everyone for a great night!
