Coorparoo Jam
A great though Chilly night was had to kick off this months Jams at Coorparoo.
The original Crew under the leadership of Charmaine Matthew, brought smiles on the faces of the audience with a collection of Irish’s songs that could not be performed in April due to Cyclone Harry. Old time favourites included Danny Boy, When Irish Eyes are smiling, GalWay Bay, and the Unicorn song.
Spare Parts led by Peter Grace brought us a happy romp with well known numbers including the Wreck of the Nancy Lee, The Bar Song, The Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde, and Don’t Stop.
The evening was rounded off with the Graham Hall and the Grandies , who brought us a fine selection of Beatles songs.
The audience all left with happy faces to make their way home in the chill of the night.
