Ukulele Friday invites requests

It was a chilly night in Corinda on 13 June, meaning a well wrapped-up party celebrated Ukulele Friday at the Bowls Club.  Jen, Gabi and Sam had invited members of the UF Facebook group to suggest songs and they didn’t disappoint. 

Who knows Blinding Light by the Weeknd?  Or The Way it Goes by Gillian Welch.  Maybe Mean by Taylor Swift or ABBA’s Fernando (complete with epic riffs by Sam) are better known?  Well, if you were there, you’d know them all now.  Our musical depth is growing.

Things got back to usual in the second set with many of the UF favourite bands, including Dolly, Marty Robbins, The Steeldrivers and Train (a US band who recently played in Brisbane).
