Standing room only at Ferny Grove

Wow, it was standing room only at Ferny Grove Bowls Club on Wednesday night!

Approximately 70 ukulele players and visitors came along to enjoy a great night of music and fun.

Linda and Kev kicked off the first set with some great songs, including a couple of Elvis classics.

On the first break, we sang along to The Seeker's, Morningtown Ride, and I'll never find another you, ably performed by The Bunyaville Buskers.

The second set was a family affair with Linda's husband, Danny, on Bass and her brother, Mark, leading the set. They played a great variety of songs, including 'Under the Milky Way', 'Silly Love Songs' and "It's not Unusual". I think everyone particularly enjoyed Mark's rendition of 'Sorrow' by David Bowie.

Donna and Derek took to the stage in the second break with three songs,'Tennessee Whisky', 'Darktown Strutters Ball' and 'My Blue Heaven'.

Linda and Kev wrapped up the night with a wonderful third set, sending us home with 'Rhinestone Cowboy' echoing in our ears.
