You are invited to attend the Brisbane Ukulele Musicians Society Inc Annual General Meeting for 2025. You would have received this invitation if you are a financial or life member of BUMS Inc.
Don't forget to bring your uke!
As has become the custom, the formal AGM meeting will be squeezed between a couple of jams — so the format of the afternoon event will be a welcoming afternoon tea, followed by opening jam with Sublime Ukelectics, the AGM, and then a closing jam with the Ferny Groovers.

The Annual General Meeting
Our Rules of incorporation require us to hold the AGM soon after the end of the financial year. At the meeting, we will report on the activities of BUMS in the 2024-25 year, accept the financial statements for the year, and elect a new committee for 2025-26.
All Management Committee positions are declared vacant, and nominations are invited from any financial member. We want to run a larger Committee in 2025-26 to spread the knowledge of BUMS and how it works. We will continue to invite BUMS members to take on projects or regular tasks to help us run the Society. Our aim is to share the load and involve more members in the administration of our activities.
As a financial or life BUMS Inc member, you can nominate, second, or be nominated for, any of the Management Committee positions. Nominations are called for President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Events Manager/Gigmeister and General Committee members.
