Ferny Grove Jam for September

Approximately 60 groovers enjoyed the jam at Ferny Grove on Wednesday night. Linda and Kev kicked the night off with a couple of show stoppers, "Any dream will do" from Joseph and his Technicolour Dream Coat and "Accidentally in Love" from Shrek.

The first set included many more great songs including "Sunglasses at Night" which gave us a chance to try out our picking skills. During the break Donna and Derek sang 2 songs, one from Willie Nelsen and one from Boz Scaggs.

Strung Out led the second set, including "California Dreaming'" and "I feel the Earth Move"

The third set was definitely following a love theme with songs such as "Never gonna give you up", "Groovy kind of love" and"Burn for you". It was a great night, finishing on the very appropriate "Sweet Dreams!"

The next Ferny Grove jam will be Wednesday 15th October from 7 to 9pm.

And don't forget the special daytime Sing-Along jam on Thursday 30th October at 1pm to celebrate seniors month.
