GeeBUMS in September

In Andrew's absence, Graham Hall and Peter Grace led the jam, ably supported by a sprinkling of open mic performers.  GeeBUMS is a relaxed small jam, and 21 players and supporters (including a 90+ year old dancer) enjoyed the afternoon.  We sang Country Road to celebrate Charlie Cameron's four goals in the Brisbane Lions Grand Final triumph.  Lyndle provided harmonica and percussion support and everyone sang the vocals to her open mic harmonica solo.

Jammers chose songs from a long list of songs and included DownTown, Rocking All Over the World, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Leaving on a Jet Plane and The Letter.  Members of the Bramble Bay Strummers entertained us with Eight Days a Week.

Next GeeBUMS is on Sunday 26 October from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.  Come and enjoy lunch at the Little Nyonya bistro before the jam.
