November Jams:
Coorparoo, Wednesday 5th November, 6.30pm-8.30pm. There will be rock and roll, country, pop, old standards, classics from the 50s and 60s and more. Finger food for a gold coin donation from 6.00pm. Beginners at 6.00pm. Open Mic. More information.
Flat Lizard Jam (Stafford), 9th November, 12.30pm-2.30pm. A laid-back jam session with Blair Marks. Suits ukulele players at intermediate level, but everyone is welcome. More information.
WeBUMS Jam (West End), Tuesday 11th November, 7pm-9pm. Three different performers/leaders including David Megarrity (founding BUMS member and the Tyrone in Tyrone and Lesley) The ambience of The Loft at the Archive Beer Boutique just adds to the feel-good nature of the night. More information.
Westside Jam (Sinnamon Park), Wednesday 12th November, 11am-1pm. Known as the ‘Friendly Jam’, everyone is welcome to enjoy songs mostly from the 60’s and 70’s. There’s a door prize for free coffee or tea at the first break. Open Mic. More information.
Ukulele Friday @ Corinda, Friday 14th November, 6.30pm-8.00pm. Led by Gabrielle Liddle, Jen Reynolds, and Sam Reynolds. Play along to a great choice of old standards and new favourites - pop, folk, rock, and country! More information.

Northside Jam, 26th November, 6.30-pm-8.30pm. Join Andrew Hunt, Peter Grace and friends as they rock the Function Room at the Geebung Bowlo. Food from the Little Nyonya Kitchen (Malaysian cuisine), 5.00-9.00pm. More information.
GeeBUMS jam and open mics, Sunday 30 November 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Andrew Hunt leads a relaxed and fun afternoon at Geebung Bowls Club. Bring your favourite songs to play at an open mic or choose a song from the BUMS library for the jam. More information.

Playing Jazz Standards for Everyone Get in quick! Last chance! This 'Playing Jazz Standards for Everyone' workshop presented by the Wild Women of Anywhere Beach is suitable for anyone who can play a dozen or so basic chords as well as intermediate/advanced players. Uke Can Sail on a Tall Ship Now's the time - book now to ensure we have the numbers for this fun event. This event is an invitation to all ukulele players (not just BUMS) to combine a day out on Moreton Bay with a stopover on St Helena Island for lunch and a jam. Jam using songs on tablets or on paper.
