Wrap up of World Ukulele Day

04th February 2026

What a day!  The Coorparoo Bowls Club was packed, and our three stages were well-supported by over 180 ukulele players (and spectators who came to hear what a fun instrument it is).  Nine hours of ukulele!  Here are some photos from the day.

Event organiser, Max Borchardt, kicked off the day of jams and performances by introducing a workshop by David McGerrity and Sam Vincent (Tyrone and Lesley).  Details of their upcoming album launch are here.
