Nominate a life member

At the Annual General Meeting each year, the Management Committee can appoint up to two Life Members.  This award is to recognise people who have made a long-term, ongoing and significant contribution to the work of the society. The current life members are recorded on the website.

You are invited to nominate fellow members who you believe would be worthy of receiving life membership. Your nomination will remain confidential. Selection criteria include the length of membership, participation in activities, and the extent of the nominee’s contribution.  Such information included in your nomination will be helpful. 

BUMS Management committee has a small Life Membership selection committee which will consider all nominations and make formal a recommendation.
