Northside May Jam

Approximately 30 jammers braved the inclement weather (and State of Origin Night) on Wednesday night for a fantastic evening of music at Northside.

Spare Parts kicked us off, including songs like Rollover Beethoven and Rockabilly Rebel. As a tribute to Dennis Locorreire from Dr Hook, who passed away recently, they also included Cover of the Rolling Stones in their set.

The second set was led by Totally Insane Ukes. We joined in with some well known songs such as Hound Dog and Darktown Stutters Ball and some not so well known songs like I Don't Want to set the World on Fire. I think everyone's favourite, though, was Seven Little Girls Sitting on the Back Seat. Great song!

The Grandees, unfortunately missing Rose, but ably supported by Pam and Linda played the last set of the evening with some wonderful popular songs. These included I Can't Stop Loving You, Close to You and In the Air Tonight. A great way to spend the evening!
