Northside jam rocks in August

Attendance numbers were back to normal at Geebung on the 26 August (the fourth Wednesday of the month). Next jam is on 23 September. It was a rocking good night with sets lead by NUMB BUMS, Tony, Jock and their mate Bob on lager phone and finishing off with Linda and Kevin with vocal support from Judi |

Newkulele Festival 2026

BUMS was well represented in Newcastle with Strung Out playing a set and performing an open mic, David Hethorn leading a jam and performing a set and Sue Sercombe performing an open mic with friends, Rowena and Hans. |

The New England Uke Muster will be taking place on Friday afternoon, 19 February 2027 and Saturday, 20 February 2027 in Tenterfield, NSW, featuring a Friday night public park gig and the main session all day Saturday and Saturday night. |

Northside jam in July

It was a cold night at Geebung Bowls Club, and a small but hardy band of players enjoyed two hours of fun. The Northside jam is on the fourth Wednesday of the month – and we wondered if some regulars thought it was on next week (the 29th) which is the fifth Wednesday in July. If this was you, don’t turn up next week. |
