Discover chord structures and inversions beyond the usual third fret.

In this this interactive and absorbing workshop you’ll learn to identify notes on the standard tuned Ukulele and some common major and minor scales. Mick will teach you chord construction in a simplified form making it easier for you to learn to develop chords.

Designed for Beginner and Intermediate Ukulele players, you’ll gain a simple knowledge in chord structures up and down the ukulele neck, chord inversions and how to create many of the chords that alienate a lot of players like augmented, diminished, power, major, minors and their variations.

WHAT TO BRING

  • An open mind, patience so slower players can learn and an interest in learning what more can be done on a Ukulele.
  • A standard tuned Ukulele! THIS IS NOT FOR BARITONE UKULELES.
  • There’ll be a bin at the front door, please drop your egos there and pick them up on your way out!

You’ll get a link to the slides used to download at home and information sheets to assist during the workshop. Tea & Coffee is supplied for the break.
