BUMS Inc financial member (as well as Associate members (under 18 years of age), and Life Members enjoy a range of benefits. They can:

  • Get into all of our large monthly jams for free.
  • Play with a BUMS Inc community band
  • Join the BUMS Online Members Private Facebook Group
  • Vote at general meetings and nominate for positions on the our management committee
  • Qualify for discounts at ukulele workshops and concerts.

Note: Visitors (non-members) pay a $5.00 entry fee per jam.  Associate members must be accompanied to jams by a paying adult or financial member.

Membership is $50 for the financial year.

During the year, come to just 12 BUMS Inc jams about town  https://www.brisbaneukulele.com/news-events/jams-about-town/ held at our larger venues — Coorparoo, Westside (Sinnamon Park), Ferny Grove, Northside (Geebung) or East Side (Birkdale) — and you’ll save $10. Go to every jam for the year (that’s generally over 40 jams) you’ll save $185!

And then there’s BUMS Online …

 

From BUMS on seats to BUMS online … our busy BUMS community leaders showed amazing resilience, creativity and community spirit during the 2020 pandemic. They created a private Facebook group exclusively for BUMS Inc members. The BUMS Online Facebook group provides members with a platform to participate in discussions and share performances, reviews, and tutorials, and join our online jams.

To be a member of BUMS Online, you must be a BUMS Inc Financial Member, or an Associate Member who is over 14 years of age.

Its easy to join

  1. You must have a Facebook account. Here’s how to get one.

  3. Click the blue button below the cover photo  JOIN GROUP .

There are 3 questions to answer.

  1. Are you a financial member of BUMS Inc?
  2. When did you pay BUMS Inc membership for 2022-2023?
  3. If you use a different name on Facebook than the name you used on your BUMS membership application please leave below AND anything else you want us to know.

Please advise us of your name that you used to join BUMS Inc. If the admins don’t find a name match on the current financial membership list your request will be refused. If there are any queries at our end, one of our Admins will message you first for the required information before any refusals.

All new BUMS Inc members receive a welcome email from our secretary after processing their membership with an invitation to join our private members only Facebook group.
