BUMS Coorparoo Jam — Wednesday 5 July (1st Wednesday of the month)
Grab your ukulele, your family & friends for a night playing and singing. All songs projected on 2 big screens and led by some of our talented performing BUMS.  Come early and have dinner & a bevvy at the Green Bar downstairs.
VENUE: Coorparoo Bowls Club, 32 Riddings Street Coorparoo
TIME: Beginners class 6:30 pm; Jam starts 7:00 pm
COST: BUMS members FREE and visitors $5

Ukulele Plays Irish — Thursday 6 July (Weekly)
Peter McMeel and Brendan Williams bring a bit of the Irish to Toowong Bowls Club.
This weekly session began on 25 May. Experienced players, check it out if you are looking for a new challenge, and want to advance your skills in a new fun direction.
Tune your ukes in D for Celtic. Check out this post for more details.
VENUE: Toowong Bowls Club, 59 Gailey Road (cnr Heroes Ave), Perrin Park, Toowong
TIME: 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm. The session extends into All instruments at around 6:30 pm.

WE BUMS Jam at West End — Friday 14 July (2nd Friday of the month)
End your working week at Cesca and Geoff’s jam. The theme for July is to be determined.  Fabulous cold pressed coffee (or hot) available.
VENUE: Hope St Cafe, 170 Boundary St, West End
TIME: 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
COST: Gold coin donation appreciated

BUMS Daytime Jam — Wednesday 12 July (2nd Wednesday of the month)
Join Peter and Sue Sercombe to get your mid-week uke fix, playing anything from classics to current hit songs. More info contact: Sue and Peter on o7 3378 5938.
VENUE: Toowong Bowls Club, 59 Gailey Road (cnr Heroes Ave), Perrin Park, Toowong
Just a 5-7 min walk from Toowong station, or there is plenty of parking in the grounds.
If you are not a bowls club member, please remember to sign in at club before each jam. (Bowls club social membership is $1.00 for life.)
TIME: Jam from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
COST: Free to members, $5 for visitors

Join Blair for a Sunday session with a difference.

Ferny Grove Beginners Jam — Wednesday 19 July (3rd Wednesday of the month)
Just starting out? Join Linda Gough and Paul Morris for a relaxing low key jam with easy chords, that’s lots of fun. It’s also a great opportunity for more experienced players to practise their fingerstyle technique.

Open Mic Night — Thursday 20 & 27 July (3rd & 4th Thursday of the month)
Check out this post. All musicians welcome, especially ukulele players. Perform for a small, appreciative crowd, or come to lend your support! This low key open mic is for unpolished singles and duets with a one-song-at-a-time format. Perfect for your first performance. The Thai food is great and the bar is open.
