We have a very special night for the October Northside Jam. Along with our regular jam sessions, we have a special repeat performance of BUMS Supergroup direct from Newkulele Festival. Yes it’s the fifth Tuesday of October rather than our regular fourth Tuesday, so it really is an extraordinary night!

The BFG (BUMS Festival Group) got together to perform at Newkulele 2018. They’ve created a Uke Opera, maybe the first ever! A modern-day Romeo and Juliet story of eleven songs woven together by a narrator. It’s a tale full of emotion. Love, frustration, anger, craziness, sorrow, joy, and violence, how will it all end? Will our hero and heroine end up like the tragic Shakespearean couple? What has the Goodwill Bridge got to do with it all? Read more about the BFG here.

This is the only other performance of the Uke Opera…ever… so if you didn’t get to Newkulele Festival don’t miss it!
