Interested in joining a BUMS Community Band?

We’re serious about music, but we focus on having fun – and you will too when you join us!

You don’t have to be a virtuoso to perform in one of our community bands, just willing to practise and participate. The members bring different tastes, genres and ideas to each of our bands. All financial members are eligible to join one of our community bands and be a performing BUM. 

Our community bands represent BUMS Inc and perform all over Brisbane at community events and festivals from Kenilworth and Caboolture to Redland Bay, and enjoy supporting worthy causes like, The Pyjama Foundation, Parkinson’s Queensland, Cure for Brain Cancer and MS Queensland.

BUMS Inc runs three community bands.

Corinda
The Sublime Ukelectics meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month (excluding school holidays) from 2-4pm in the hall at Corinda State School, 330 Cliveden Avenue, Corinda QLD 4075.

Zillmere
NUMB BUMS meets every Monday at 6:30 pm for 7:00 pm in Zillmere.  We practice at the Zillmere Hall, 52 Murphy Road (near the corner of Merrett Av). For details about joining the band, contact the band leader, Peter Grace by email pegrace@live.com.au and he will call you back.
