NUMB BUMS love to share the joy of the ukulele and music. The players in the Northside Ukulele Musicians Branch of BUMS are drawn mostly from the north side of Brisbane. Although all comers with a uke are welcome. There is no audition process. You just have to be keen and willing to learn. We play for fun, to learn and to make new friends.

Rehearsal night is on Monday at Zillmere where our current repertoire is fine-tuned (pun intended) and new songs are developed. The NUMB BUMS will have a crack at the beat and harmonies of any genre. We perform in public for community groups, charities, child care centres and virtually anywhere we are asked – all to spread the fun of the versatile and entertaining ukulele.

The NUMB BUMS have performed at City Sounds, QPAC Green Jam 2016, SPRUKE— Brisbane’s Ukulele Festival Showcase Concert 2015, 2017, 2019, Sunshine Cast Ukulele Festival, Newkulele  2019 and various local community festivals from Caboolture to Redland Bay. We enjoy donating our performances to support charities which have included The Pyjama Foundation, Parkinson Queensland, Cure for Brain Cancer, the Wesley Hospital Auxiliary and Lions Clubs.
