About ELUKULELE

ELMUKULELE is the creation of seasoned musician and songwriter, Erin Harrington.

Surrounded by jazz musicians at young age, Erin has been exploring creativity through music her whole life. Violin and Singing lessons led to a quirky Singer Songwriter and from many cafe gigs, uni bars and experimentation of sounds; Erin became her alto ego, “Miss Elm”. Miss Elm produced 3 EP’s, was recognised as a finalist in the “Folk, Singer Songwriter” section of the Queensland Music Awards and travelled around Australia for 4 years playing in many popular festivals such as the SPRUKE Ukulele Festival, Caloundra Music Festival and the Teneriffe Festival. After many different line ups (ranging from double melodica and flute, down to 4 piece band) Miss Elm is now a stripped back solo singer-songwriter in the midst of creating new works in 2019.

After working at Ukulele Specialist Store, Morris Brothers Music; Erin grew a love of Ukuleles for their simplicity, transportable size, powerful sound and variety. Erin quickly became the expert on all things Ukulele and developed her own unique sound. She now loves helping others find their creativity through Ukulele and sparking joy in anyone who will listen.

ELMUKULELE is a hybrid service of tuition, workshops and customised musical experience for all those (young and old) who love music, want to improve their skills or play an instrument for the first time.
