Remembrance Day Service

Hosted by Vic Kena,
10:00 am Sunday 11 Nov 2018,
Gair Park- 181 Annerley Road, Dutton Park.

Ukulele played a part in keeping up the spirits of soldiers in WW1 & WW2. So what better way to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day.

Vic and Kerry Kena led a moving ukulele tribute to our ANZACs (and indeed all our soldiers) on Wednesday night at Coorparoo uke jam.

You are all invited to attend a small Remembrance Day service hosted by Vic Kena at 10:00 am this Sunday (11 November 2018) at Gair Park, Annerley. Some parking is available on Maldon Street, Annerley. Bring a plate, a chair and your ukulele. We will pray and sing a set of wartime songs. Music will be provided or can be sent to you.

Wear a poppy if possible. Contact Vic on 0408 389 270 or msg for more info.

For those who would like to have the songs that Vic led in his set list at Coorparoo Jam on Wednesday download the PDF here.
