About the workshop …
Ross & Helena will demonstrate their approach to presenting songs for performance and recording (one original and one classic). Participants will be shown how to use a variety of picking and strumming techniques in order to make a song “theirs” – different from other versions, but true to the original. Bring a song you’d like to work on (lyrics & chords will do; several versions or keys if you like).
You’ll be supplied with a list of techniques/strategies to choose from, & our charts for the songs we present. Opportunities to record and video will be flagged, so you’ll be free to concentrate on the workshop itself.
About the presenters …
Helena BOND, vocalist and u-bassist for Daylight Moon, has been singing all her life, and brings an experienced ear to making a song work.

Daylight Moon are currently recording their 3rd album, Dancing on the Moon, which includes three uke songs.
